Conor Albert & Maya Delilah release new single "I Think You Should Know". The single is the third taste of Conor Albert's upcoming project 'Collage 2’, out Spring 2022 via Young Poet (UK & ROW) and Ninja Tune (North America).

The new single follows Conor's momentous sold-out headline show at London's Jazz Cafe in June, and previous 'Collage 2' singles: "Moonlight" (with Mac Ayers) and "Keep Your Faith", catching the attention of Questlove, Jacob Collier, Justin Bieber, Zane Lowe, Timbaland and more along the way.

New single "I Think You Should Know" arrives ahead of Conor Albert's recently announced appearance at The Great Escape Festival's First Fifty showcases due to take place in November, and finds him working alongside frequent collaborators Carmody and Matilda Mann, and London based guitarist and singer Maya Delilah.

What started as an off-the-cuff beat collab between Conor and Maya, quickly developed (with the help of Carmody) into the sunshine-fuelled guitar pop bop it is today. Featuring backing vocals from Matilda Mann, the track brims with positivity; Maya Delilah's crisp vocals weaving around lilting guitar riffs, with a message of defiance to a former lover: "So don’t tell me what you’re feeling / Cause I don’t wanna hear it / Don’t have yourself believing / That this song's for you".

Commenting on the track Conor said: "The song is about how both me and Maya had gone through breakups at roughly the same time last year, and as soon as the breakup happened our lives really changed for the better. The song also touches on some of the feelings you’re bound to feel post breakup, like secretly being happy that the other person isn’t doing as well as you are! Maya is the queen of breakup songs at the moment so I’m glad I could share the sentiment with her for one of my songs."

It's been a whirlwind 12 months for Conor Albert. As a result of his ingenious beat videos, his social channels have seen a huge increase in followers, collaborating with acts including Priya Ragu, Disclosure, Tom Misch, Zak Abel, and Reuben James in the process.

His next project 'Collage 2' is a continuation of the work that began with debut EP 'Collage 1' but presents a confident and exciting step forward. Speaking on what fans should expect this year, Conor added: "The next 6 months are gonna be filled with loads of new music with a greater focus on collaboration, even more than on Collage 1. I'm enlisting the help of all the new friends I've made over the last year to make the best possible project I can. I'm super excited."

Conor Albert's new project 'Collage 2' will continue to unfold over the coming months, with a full release due Spring 2022. New single "I Think You Should Know" is out now via Young Poet / Ninja Tune.
